Please note that Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has amended the temporary public policy which exempted Syrians and Iraqis applying through the Group of 5 process to provide UNHCR documentation. As of December 19, IRCC is limiting the number of exempted Syrian and Iraqi applications to 1,000 people for Groups of Five and community sponsors.
